Notice your body: Are you hungry, tired, tense? Meeting a basic need is a form of self-respect. Reach out: one text to a trusted person can soften a heavy day. Rest without guilt: rest is not a reward you earn; it is a need you have.
Write 2 Heal practices complement — and never replace — therapy, medical care, or crisis support. If you are in crisis, please call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline any time, day or night.
